Hawkins & Clements has implemented policies and procedures that tightly manage all areas of construction. Project Managers generate comprehensive Inspection Test Plans for project teams to work to, identifying relevant Australian Standards, Building Codes, and best practice guidelines. This ensures accountability and safe work practices at all stages of construction.
More recently Hawkins & Clements have been engaged by one of the three panel contractors of the NTG Homebuild project. This is an initiative of the Northern Territory Government that will improve Aboriginal housing in remote communities, and represents an investment of $1.1 billion over 10 years. Under this project H&C will supply the majority of the carpentry materials and labour for the mass production of two styles of demountable buildings.
